Please start the school day by watching the teaching video(s) sent each morning via Class Dojo.
Math:
For math today, kids will continue on doing a Zearn lesson along with a practice page learning more about equal groups.
1st Zearn-
Please complete Lesson 18- "Doubly Even" which includes Number Gym, Blast, Math Chat, Tower of Power, and the Bonus. Please STOP when you see you have unlocked Lesson 19- Odds and Evens. We will be doing lesson 19 tomorrow.
2nd Engage NY- Practice Page-(only 1 side assigned, second side is optional!)
Next, please complete the corresponding Engage NY- Lesson 18 practice page attached below. You may print the page OR you may view them on the screen and complete them on another sheet of paper. Please submit the completed pages to us via Class Dojo when you have finished.

Part 1- Please login to your Readworks account, read The Big Hike, and answer the comprehension questions. You may also choose to print the pdf below.
Part 2- Complete an additional 20 minutes of daily reading with a book of choice from home. You may use the weekly reading log posted below or you may create one of your own.
Writing:
Please bring your birthday pages to our zoom writing lesson. We will be interviewing the summer birthday students. Work independently on the pages.
Science:
Yesterday in science we solved the mystery of “Where do plants grow best?” and learned that different plants need different amounts of water and sunlight!
The Kids Should See This Video:
We are excited to see what our kiddos have learned this week about plants needing different amounts of sunlight and water. We have posted the questions to print and submit via Dojo, and are posting a link to a Google Form version for families who would like to type and submit some answers to us that way. We welcome either way you prefer. Here's the link if you'd like to try the google form version of the questions.

The kids are welcome to rewatch the Mystery Science video posted on Tuesday before/while they complete the questions to help them. As always, please make sure they practice using complete sentences, capitals and punctuation when answering the questions. After they are done please submit the answers to us via Dojo or the google form.

Dandelion HuntIf you have a grassy lawn near you, you can go on a dandelion hunt! Find four areas on the lawn that are about the same size. Ideally you want:
